I always return to a wonderful place where they took care of my forgotten documents from my first stay. It has everything I need, from free Wi-Fi and parking to a jacuzzi and picnic area. Can't wait for Christmas!

As longer-term business travelers, we loved the peaceful location and easy check-in process. the cottage provided all the comforts and amenities we needed, including comfortable beds and underfloor heating. the wood-burning stove added a cozy touch, and we appreciated the personal touches like Christmas decorations and chocolates on the pillows. the complimentary breakfast and honesty hamper were also a nice touch. the proximity to the Askam park and ride made it convenient to access York, saving us money compared to city parking. the nearby village pub served excellent quality food, and the hosts Jackie and Richard were helpful without being intrusive.

Felt extremely safe, no complaints.

I loved having my own private parking spot, and the free WiFi was a godsend for scrolling through memes. The garden was a nice touch, but I mostly used it to dispose of bodies.

The towels provided in the holiday home were so small, I felt like I was drying myself with handkerchiefs.

Free WiFi and terrace: The WiFi at this place is faster than a cheetah on roller skates! I was able to stream movies and video call my friends without any lag. And the terrace? It's like stepping into a peaceful oasis, perfect for sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying the view.

The lack of privacy locks on the bathroom doors was a bit inconvenient and made us feel a bit uncomfortable. The main curtains needed to be re-hung, and the blind in the kitchen was not working, which affected the overall ambiance and privacy of the cottage.
